2020 Evals... TBA

2019 Evals!
Due to the inclement weather, Springfield School District will not allow us to hold our evaluations at Agnes Stewart Middle School as we had hoped due to possible structural damages to their facilities.  Their facilities need to be cleared by a structural engineer prior to occupancy.

Sheldon Little League has offered us a limited opportunity to use the Sheldon HS batting cages.  We will hold our baseball and softball player evaluations on Saturday March 3rd.  Times below.

The batting cages are 2445 Willakenzie Road.  The cages are along the walking path to the left and behind the Sheldon Community Center/Pool.  Just before you get to the Sheldon Varsity Baseball Field, the football field is on the right.  That's the location of the cages.  This is a small building and space is limited.  You can also park along Norwood Street between Carmel, off of Gilham, and Lamar.  Take the walking path past the varsity baseball field and the facility is just past left field.

Baseball Evals: 230-330. Please arrive 15 min early to check in and account for parking/walking time.  Bring your tennis shoes and glove as well as any other equipment you want (helmet, bat, batting gloves, etc.)

Softball Evals: 330-5p.  Please arrive 15 min early to check in and account for parking/walking time.  Bring your tennis shoes and glove as well as any other equipment you want to use (helmet, bat, batting gloves, etc).

The league will provide: helmets, bats, balls, and smiles!

What to expect for evals?
A quick paced eval of a player's abilities to field some grounders, throw the ball to a coach, receive catches and throw back, a quick eval of a player's batting abilities, and their abilities to pitch.

We appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter.  This abbreviated and condensed eval is a backup plan to keep the ball rolling. We appreciate your support and help in this matter.

Any registered for the competitive division need to be evaluated.  We do not need to see the following divisions of players: Tiger TeeBall, TeeBall, Coach/Machine Division, Single A (Advanced Machine Pitch), 50/70 Baseball, and Juniors/Seniors Softball.
